The Role
Overview
Assist in designing HVAC and mechanical building systems using AutoCAD/Revit.

Tasks
In this role, you will support the design of mechanical systems for a variety of projects, including commercial and high-rise residential buildings, working closely with experienced engineers and designers who will help you develop your technical skills, industry knowledge, and production capabilities. -Support engineers with calculations, equipment selection, and basic system layouts. -Assist in the design and production of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, piping, and other related mechanical components. -Monthly team building activities. -Maintain organized project files and support overall project workflow. -Help prepare project deliverables such as plans, specifications, and reports. -Create and revise AutoCAD and/or Revit drawings, 3D models, and construction documents under the guidance of senior staff. -Coordinate with internal team members to ensure accurate, high-quality design documents. -Participate in site visits to document existing conditions (with team guidance).

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Tampa, FL (33619) headquarters. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or someone who has completed a technical drafting program (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and is eager to begin building a career in mechanical/HVAC design. -Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit from coursework, training, or hands-on projects. -Associate degree or technical program certification in drafting/design OR bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. -Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to follow direction, learn quickly, and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
