Tasks

-Providing the leadership and strategic direction to the project in line with the innovative Mace ethos, methods of working and best practice. -Establishing and encouraging open, effective lines of communication with the Mace board, project team and all stakeholders involved in the scheme -Maintaining and developing the reputation of Mace while protecting our position at all times -Supporting and promoting a collaborative approach to team work within a large, multi-disciplinary, multi stakeholder, culturally diverse project team -Building and sustaining an integrated, multi-cultural, collaborative and high performance team that anticipates and responds to the needs of the organisation and key stakeholders -Overseeing the overall management and performance of major projects including planning, design, construction, programme controls and monitoring, ensuring the project is delivered to time, budget and specification. -Accountable for attracting and retaining talented people. -Implementing strategies for service delivery, capturing learning to promote a culture of continuous improvement and better practice -Contributing with fresh ideas on strategy, business planning, and service delivery that will challenge normal practice. -Creating and promoting clear vision, leadership and direction for the project and steer the scheme along a path to success -Contributing at leadership level, liaising and providing support to aligned business streams.
