The Role
Overview
Assist DoD in managing small construction projects, handling coordination, tracking, and reporting.

Tasks
-Regularly prepares and presents project status briefings, develops, and maintains performance matrixes, prepares well-written technical reports. Prepares written and oral reports to Government leadership and program managers. -Serves as liaison between the construction teams and clients to ensure that their operational impacts caused by the construction operation are understood and to clearly set expectations resulting in clear communications. -Supports the Government’s tracking of construction progress, submittals, permit applications, organization of files, and purchase requests. -Schedules and participates in weekly project progress meetings and monthly program progress meetings to evaluate schedule progress, identify departures from the accepted baseline schedule, and evaluate risk to long-term project and program health. -Supports the Government’s development of technical requirements, scopes of work, cost estimate analysis and schedules for A/E services, to include studies, reports, and drawings review. -The position maintains construction administration data in Excel, web based software and files to be aggregated and used as metrics and briefing tools for senior leadership. -Assists the Government in conducting site evaluations, field surveys, and site visits to determine constructability and code compliance. Develops draft scopes of work, validation of requirements, and participates in pre-bid conferences.

ISI brings over 30 years of experience providing tailored workforce and project management solutions across the U.S. we specialize in Program and Project Management, Construction Management, Real Estate Advisory, Acquisition Management, Logistics, Leadership Development, and more. -BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management with 3+ years relevant CM experience OR An ACTIVE General Contractor/Construction Trades license with 10+ years of construction experience. -Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time. -Pentagon WHS experience is highly sought after. -Occasionally required to move 5 – 15 pounds. -Has the ability to work independently to track down requirements and data from other project managers or clients in a professional manner with complete and on time submissions. -Must be a U.S. Citizen. -Experience with the Pentagon, DoD, USACE, or NAVFAC is highly preferred. -Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust clearance (requirements government fingerprinting and background check). -0-10% Travel – May need to travel to other Federal facilities within a 50-mile radius. -Experience working for a General Contractor is highly preferred. -Must be able to remain in a stationary computer position for extended periods of time.
