The Role

Overview

Manage on‑site construction, subcontractors, health & safety, schedule and cost for water projects

Tasks

-Planning & Scheduling: Contribute to developing the project schedule and monitor progress against it. Identify and address any potential delays or issues. -Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, monitoring their performance and ensuring they meet deadlines and quality expectations. Address any performance issues promptly and professionally. -Materials Management: Manage and control on-site materials, ensuring efficient procurement, storage, and usage. Minimise waste and ensure accurate record-keeping. -Cost Control: Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Work within the agreed budget and report any variances to the Project Manager.

What You Bring

-CSCS Black Card (or equivalent). -Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. -Proven experience as a Works Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry -Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation (e.g., CDM Regulations). -SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
