Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (2:00 - 10:00 PM)

Overview

Oversee 2nd shift production, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.

Tasks

-Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. -Responsible for the correction of safety/environmental issues discovered within their area(s). -Perform safety observations/inspections as required. -Enforce the use of all required PPE and applicable safety/environmental rules within their department(s). -Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments. -Coordinates activities of various departments and assigns personnel to critical work areas across the entire plant. -Trains and develops assigned personnel and ensures compliance with ISO standards. -Participate in incident investigations for injuries and near misses that occur within their area(s). -Provides leadership on small projects and participates in larger continuous improvement projects. -Addresses operating issues as they arise on the floor by utilizing quality, engineering, and department resources as necessary. -Enforces plant policies and manages administrative tasks such as payroll, vacation tracking and overtime. -Responsible for driving safety performance within their area(s) to achieve the JCI gold safety status (goal: no recordables or lost time injuries) -Supervises various departments and ensures they achieve goals in safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment OR Associate degree and a minimum of six (6) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. -Knowledge of HVAC design principles, systems or controls. -Proficiency using MS Office Suite. -Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:00 - 10:00 PM), Monday-Friday with an extra 30 minutes prior to start of shift and end of shift as well as weekend overtime as needed to support production). -Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
