Assemble, test, and improve electro‑mechanical products using lean methods.

Tasks

-Working to Lean practices, follow routine maintenance schedules and cleaning plans for workstations, jigs, and fixtures. -Conduct daily 5S inspections as required. -Take part in 5S Audits and maintenance plans. -Follow working instructions for specific operations in order to ensure production according to quality standards. -Perform time registration accordingly to guidelines, clock on and off at correct times, and respect working hours. -Highlight any issues to the Production Support Engineer/Coordinator. -Help to meeting requirements of standard cycle time and man hours. -Support Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement activities as required. -Organise work to achieve individual objectives while demonstrating commitment to meet team objectives. -Communicate task completion according to guidelines. -Follow safety standard. Identify near misses and unsafe conditions, and act and report to immediate mentor, team leader or supervisor. -Provide feedback to team leader or supervisor on information on lessons learnt, and provide, support implementation of improvement ideas in the allocated area of work. -Maintain a tidy area, put tools in their proper place, keep working areas free from hazards. -Flag process problems to the team leader, and take ownership of quality performance without reliance of the firewall. -Follow work instructions for specific operations in order to ensure production according to schedules. -Identify any potential job delays that will cause deviation to the standard process, and act and report to immediate mentor, team leader or supervisor.
