Graduate Mechanical Engineer designing water/wastewater treatment projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Building up your commercial awareness working alongside with Design Managers in determining project deliverables and activities. -Produce Mechanical design layouts which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the specification. -Attend site visits on water & waste-water treatment works to conduct conditions assessments and site surveys -Supporting the delivery of design within a multi-discipline environment -Monitor design costs and provide design services appropriate to the allowance available -Networking with leading suppliers in the Water sector through participation in relevant exhibitions. -Prepare design risk assessments -Participate in Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) studies as well as Operability and Maintenance (OpMan) reviews -Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts. -Become a Champion in a water or wastewater treatment process. -Production of clear and well-presented reports, specifications, and other engineering calculations & documentation. -Participate in development of sitewide 3D model and Visual Project Initiation (VPI) animations, communicating key project characteristics

What You Bring
-Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport) Meaning a full UK driving licence would be preferred. -Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal) -Have achieved or on track to achieve your Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering -Eligible to work in the UK
