Oversee solar construction field operations, safety, schedule, quality, and commissioning.

Tasks
-Coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules -Advice site teams on paper work needed collected to initiate commissioning -Identify testing required per projects scope of work -May have to interact with Owner’s Field Representative and outside testing agencies -Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options -Recommend/implement appropriate course of action -Directs solar/construction personnel and/or installation subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications -Coordinate and implement resources and activities necessary to maintain a safe and quality execution -Identify welding certification, training and experience appropriate for assignment scope -Follow and implement the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy -Carry Weight: frequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 50 pounds -Communication with engineering parties to meet commissioning requirements -Assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance. -Coordination with supplier testing & commissioning teams -Support the team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities

-Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner -Travel: up to 75% as needed -Strong in Microsoft Office Suite -Body Position: frequently remains standing and moving up to 90% of the time in a 8-10 hour work day -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far -Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player -Willingness to travel -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position -Regular professional, construction site setting -Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite) -Solar PV or wind power project experience, preferred -Experience reviewing electrical and mechanical manuals of installation and design technical packages -Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tool, and possess strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of software development methodologies and processes -Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines -Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience supporting the constructions of major projects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility-scale construction projects -Fluent in written and spoken English -Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -Experience operating solar power plants and equipment -Move/Traverse: frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk -if operating equipment, be able to enter and exit equipment up to 90% of the time in a 8-10 hour work day -Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office trailer setting)
