Tasks

-Represents the company in a professional manner. -Complete the Heath Consultants training and operator qualification program requirements. -Follow all company safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures. -Assist other technicians with leaks when necessary. -Communicating and interacting with homeowners and utility representatives. -Safely operating the company vehicle per the vehicle policy. -Follow all company, client, state, and federal code of regulation requirements. -Complete daily leak reports, address lists, and any other documentation required by Heath and our client. -Accurately detect, classify, and document natural gas leakage on client infrastructure. -Leak Survey Scheduling/Compliance date management -Assist the Field Supervisor with training Field Technicians. -Develop a knowledge and understanding of the utilities infrastructure.

What You Bring

-Advanced Pinpointing Technique -Proficient in Microsoft Office. Word, excel and power point. -Some overtime and travel required. -Advance knowledge of Leak Survey equipment -Once an indication of a leak is found, a 10-15 lb. plunger bar is used to punch holes in the ground so that an instrument probe can be inserted into the ground to measure the concentration of natural gas as part of the investigation procedure. The plunger bar is similar to a fence post driver. -Walking between 3 to 7 miles per day on varying types of terrain in all types of weather. -High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -Complete the Field Technician Level II qualifications. -Reading utility prints and maps. -Must have no quality issues in the last 6 months. -Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time, Some positions up to 75% of the time -Able to travel for two weeks or more at a time -Communicate openly and honestly -2 to 4 years of gas leak surveying experience required.
