Document and answer contractor RFI’s. – i.e. first point of contact.
Participate in Contractor Performance Rating for each of the major contractors as needed.
Collect and forward to PM any documentation that arrives with materials.
Daily coordination of construction activities with contractors, vendors, HON operations, E/I, and maintenance.
Pass on to project team any risk of claim or delay from contractors.
Under direction of the project manager, lead the final field activities required to close a project i.e. any construction related changes or punch list items.
Participate in incident reviews involving contractors.

Witness tests (grounding, continuity, megger) sign docs, forward to PMs. Gather daily construction reports from contractor and or maintenance include info on weather, crew makeup, and daily major achievements (see “Daily Construction Log”).Coordinate project tiein work with the plant. Report weekly highlights to the project engineer including digital field pictures when appropriate. (LOTO, Hot Work, Line Break, Confined Space, and Critical Lifts).Verify that contractors are trained on any site specific procedures i.e., Fall Protection and Scaffolding Awareness. Report monthly manpower numbers (individual projects to the various PMs and totals to the designated Project Control Tech) for the calculation of safety incident rates. Confirm onsite construction personnel meet the site/Company security and safety requirements.Witness and document contractor toolbox safety meetings.Participate in incident reviews involving contractors.Report Incidents to Capital Leader and the Project Engineer/Manager.
