The Role

Overview

Lead water/wastewater projects, grow new branch, manage team, develop clients.

Tasks

-Prepare detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. -Help recruit, build, and manage a team of technical staff to support office operations and project execution. -Supporting the work of others and mentoring junior-level engineers & design/drafting technical staff. -Lead project management efforts for water and wastewater engineering projects, including sewer comprehensive plans, engineering reports, and design for water/wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, water modeling, and pump stations. -Assist in the establishment, management, and growth of a new branch office with division and regional support. -Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for recruiting new clients, leveraging existing relationships and expanding business opportunities supporting the development of small to large design projects from inception to completion. -Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving. -Participate in internal and external technical organizations

What You Bring

-15+ years of experience in engineering design with a focus on water and/or wastewater systems. -PE license registration in Pennsylvania. -Proven experience in managing engineering project and project managers as well as developing client relationships. -BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering -Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. -PE licenses in additional states desired. -Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee projects, including wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, water systems and sewer collection systems, funding, permitting, and planning reports.
