Tasks
-Contribute expertise to key HVAC subsystems, including: -Innovate with Experts: Partner with cross-functional teams in our world-class Technology Center, leveraging advanced tools like MBSE, FEA and CFD to push the boundaries of design -Develop electro-mechanical products of significant complexity, supporting program quality, cost, and schedule -Act as the technical lead for the development of complete HVAC units, creating innovative, high-performance solutions that exceed customer expectations -Provide technical guidance to more junior team members -Work cross-functionally with groups such as design, test, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain to ensure product design meets business needs -Develop test plans and performs testing of components and sub-systems, supporting performance, reliability, and industry certification -Lead High-Impact Projects: Take ownership of designing and launching cutting-edge HVAC systems, from concept to production, solving complex challenges that shape the industry -Tackle highly complex technical challenges, applying expert knowledge in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical analysis to optimize designs -Grow and Lead: Mentor talented engineers, guide strategic initiatives, and expand your expertise in equipment and subsystem design areas like refrigeration, air quality, and energy recovery -Structural systems (design and testing for leakage, pressure, accelerated life, seismic and wind loading) -Make a Difference: Create sustainable, efficient, high-performance HVAC solutions that improve lives and environments worldwide -Drive the execution of the new product development phase-gate process, demonstrating appropriate design maturity and growth across various milestones

What You Bring
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field -Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-player mindset. -The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth -Technical Expertise: Experience in one or more of the following: thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical analysis. Demonstrated ability to architect new products and contribute to new technology development projects. -HVAC industry experience -Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive projects with minimal supervision. -Master’s degree in engineering or MBA -Indoor air quality solutions (filtration, ventilation, UV lighting) -Experience: Minimum 10 years in product development, with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects -Unit controls (sequence of operation, control algorithms, and devices) -Fans, motors, and variable speed technologies
