The Role
Overview
Lead design and delivery of multi-disciplinary workplace projects for UK clients.

Tasks
-Prepare and present design solutions and project updates to clients and key stakeholders -Lead and deliver multi-disciplinary workplace projects with a fee value from £500k -Interpret client briefs and coordinate the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, Arcadis standards, and regulatory requirements -Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants. -Assist in preparation of proposals & bid documents -Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle -Coordinating project design, construction, and management with both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring quality control and project execution -Ensure technical delivery, quality assurance, and commercial performance-driven design across all RIBA stages -Workplace Strategy - analyse client needs, provide solutions, and implement alternative workplace strategies -Manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

What You Bring
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills -Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with proven capability in client presentations -Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., BIID, RIBA, ARB, or similar) preferred -Demonstrated experience across all RIBA Work Stages, with a deep understanding of workplace design principles and strategy -Proficiency in Revit, CDE platforms, and knowledge of other industry-standard design software -Accredited with or actively pursuing BREEAM, WELL, or equivalent sustainability credentials (advantageous) -Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design, Architecture, or Design Management -10+ years' experience with a strong record of leading workplace design projects in the UK -Creative, innovative thinker with a passion for delivering transformative, people-focused work environments -Experience delivering projects in a BIM environment -Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
