Senior Project Cost Estimator

Tasks

-Define/scope potential projects and develop man-hour estimates at the proposal phase. -Coordinate/obtain budgetary quotations from vendors and review for project compliance. -Interact with project team members from all disciplines to ensure every design aspect is accounted for in the project TIC estimate. -Apply advanced estimating techniques and analysis within each discipline to fine-tune the overall project estimate. -Participate in estimate reviews and presentations with management, project team members, and client representatives. -Ensure the accuracy of TIC estimates. -Develop various phases of FEED/FEL Estimates (Conceptual to Implementation). -Communicate effectively with project management, client representatives, and third-party consultants as required. -Write estimate plans, review scope of work, develop & assemble estimate data, review estimates (discipline, management, client), and write estimate basis document with qualifications & assumptions. -Verify material pricing on a bi-annual basis with local vendors to ensure accurate TIC estimates.

What You Bring

-Must be authorized to work in the United States -Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. -5-10 years of experience required in Aspen Capital, and In-Plant Cost Estimator software. -Ability to pass background screening. -High level attention to detail -Learn and adapt to client expectations/requirements regarding project estimating. -Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
