Overview

Design and lead electrical systems for mission‑critical data centers and industrial facilities.

Tasks

-Monitors installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design documents. -Provides electrical design direction and resource management on multi-discipline projects -Conducts fault studies and load flow analysis. Develop design criteria for protective device coordination, relay applications, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution. -Reviews electrical designs and specifications of equipment or systems being purchased or fabricated. -Developing concept studies, designs, and narratives. -Advises clients regarding electrical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with all applicable codes. -Participate in the Identification, recruiting and management of resources to meet the needs of the business -Designs electrical systems/equipment to provide a useful and safe environment for the mission critical market in accordance with the clients requirements for reliability and uptime.

What You Bring

-Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and 6 years electrical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Required -Able to develop and/or lead the design of electrical master plans for facilities encompassing but not limited to the following: reliable power distribution, motor control centers, energy efficient lighting systems, communications and telecom routing, instrumentation and controls for HVAC systems, fire-alarm interface, building level uninterrupted power systems (UPS) systems, engine generators. -Bachelor Degree in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. and 7 years electrical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Required or -Ability to travel. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Experience with leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment. -Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills. -Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications. -Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment design ANSI and IEEE Standards. Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). -Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment. -Professional Engineer (PE) License Preferred. -Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. and 7 years electrical engineering experience.
