Thermal Performance Test Technician

Overview

Perform and report heat exchanger testing in a thermal lab.

Tasks

-Test execution and reporting per Laboratory Work Order (LWO) Specifications. -Establish and/or maintain work area standards for cleanliness and workplace accountability. -Assist lead technician in required annual calibration activities for test equipment. -General troubleshooting and maintenance of test equipment, instrumentation and data acquisition systems. -Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in and around lab area.

What You Bring

-Intuitive and Adaptable -Computer literacy – confident skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint -Required: 1-3 years of equivalent hands-on technical experience in a lab or testing environment or 4+ years similar experience in a technical discipline -Sound technical skills and judgement -Attention to detail (especially with measurements and calculations) -Multitasking and managing multiple activities -Become proficient in the operation and best practice of test equipment, test methods, and general lab operations. -Organization and Prioritization of daily tasks -Desired: Associate degree (or higher) in an Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Automotive or a related technical discipline -Written and Verbal communication skills
