Tasks
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This job works closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies to optimise the financial performance of the assigned business and provide guidance on financial decisions. -Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. -Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide regular updates to senior management. -Ensure that team members receive regular feedback, professional development opportunities, and -Develop and implement cash management strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational -Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for -Oversee accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of financial statements. -Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards, including GAAP and IFRS. -Monitor and manage the assigned business unit cash flow, liquidity to optimise returns and minimise risk. -Regularly review and update financial policies to reflect changes in regulations and business practices. -Manage the financial planning process in the assigned business unit, including long-term strategic -Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial plans. -Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. -Ensure that all financial operations are conducted in accordance with group policies and applicable -Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure -planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts. -Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making. -Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits. -Manage the preparation and submission of all regulatory filings and reports. -Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

What You Bring
Minimum Required Experience -A minimum of 7-10 years working experience in a similar role. -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. -Business & Financial Acumen -High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. -Applied Business Numeracy -Practical Execution Management -Preferably MBA or CPA or advanced certification. -Attention to Detail -Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory -Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required. -Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. -Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial -compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. -Proven experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success. -Verbal & Written Communication
