The Role
Overview
Lead multi-discipline architectural design, coordination, contracts and construction.

Tasks
-Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects -Conduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with Project Manager and other disciplines -Independently coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases of a project -Perform QA/QC and technical reviews -Write and edit architectural specifications -Establish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance -Incorporate agreed-upon changes into project documents -Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines -Lead projects in a dual management role as needed -Provide construction contract administration as needed -Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders -Coordinate workload of team members through multiple phases to complete documents on schedule

What You Bring
-Significant amount of contract administration experience, including running OAC meetings, reviewing applications for payment, and processing certificates of substantial completion -Experience in the areas of Data Centers or Mission Critical facilities -Demonstrated graphic presentation skills -Must have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications -Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process -A minimum of 5 years experience -10-15 years of experience preferred -Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field -Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills -Experience with SketchUp a plus, but not required -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired -Experience guiding a team of junior designers -Ability to facilitate team-wide coordination meetings with all project disciplines -Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule) -Willing to travel on a semi-regular basis to project sites -Experience with value engineering exercises -Registered Architect -Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign -Experience with commercial building permit development and processing -Master's degree in Architecture -Excellent written and communication skills
