Tasks

-Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility. -Oversee development / execution of strategies within assigned category spend group -Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. Manage claims. Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.

Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. -Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, or equivalent consulting experience -MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering, or equivalent experience/ knowledge -Demonstrated ability in leading large scale organizational, process, and culture change. -Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) -Strong experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects -Collaborative mindset in working across functional areas
