Tasks

You’ll carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance to a high standard, with expertise in at least three trades, carpentry and plumbing being the primary focus. You’ll work independently, ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible, and maintain excellent customer care throughout. -Maintain van stock and use materials responsibly -Complete maintenance tasks across multiple trades -Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota -Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards -Manage documentation and update job records accurately -Support apprentices or junior staff when required -Communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues

We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Multiskilled Carpentry Repairs Technician to join our Property Services team. This mobile role covers our housing portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. Multiskilled Carpentry Repairs Technician – Deliver high-quality maintenance across multiple trades. Location: Chesham, High Wycombe + travel -Full valid driving licence -Confidence working independently across a mobile patch -Experience working in social housing/local authority. -Experience supporting apprentices or junior staff -Relevant qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experience -Excellent communication and time management skills -Strong skills in carpentry and plumbing, plus additional trade experience -Good understanding of building regulations and health & safety requirements -Familiarity with mobile working and digital job tracking
