Tasks
-Preparation and checking of designs, calculations, drawings and documentation as part of the production of scheme deliverables that satisfy the criteria of quality, cost and programme -To work in a team, producing technically sound engineering solutions. -Support effective health and safety practices within the team -Working within a locally based technical team and taking responsibility for the delivery of your activities within a scheme project and team portfolio. -Contributing to the preparation of bids and general work-winning functions.

What You Bring
-Demonstrates a basic understanding of the different interfaces on projects -Good competence with relevant software and similar analytical tools -Experience with sustainability practices in engineering. -Custom input e.g. Knowledge of strucutres design processes and procedures relevant to the civil engineering discipline -Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate subject -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. -Able to produce technically sound engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements, working without significant supervision and moving towards overseeing more junior members of staff undertaking similar tasks -Has a basic understanding of CDM and risk assessment. Experienced in the management and communication of hazards and risks on projects -Successful completion of a Degree Apprenticeship programme or an employer led early careers development programme, with a degree of progress through a programme of initial professional development leading towards Incorporated or Chartered status. -Has knowledge and understanding of technical and specification processes and is starting to take ownership for the production of deliverables with appropriate supervision -Experienced in following procedures associated with the management of health, safety and welfare, e.g. Amey’s Integrated Management System and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
