Overview

Manage accounting, payroll, cash flow and financial reporting for construction projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Prepare and manage the Work in Progress schedule (WIP) -Work with project managers and senior management. -Monthly bank reconciliation. -Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. -Prepare and manage cash flow. -Prepare and review job cost reports. -Work with external auditors, consultants, and firms. -Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines. -Oversee and manage bi-weekly payroll processing. -Supervise accounting team. -Manage fixed asset schedule. -Assist with sales and use tax filings. -Manage ERP sync with Procore -Oversight of accounts receivable and monthly billings. -Manage general ledger accounting functions. -Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cost accounting. -Oversight of credit card program and reconciliation.

What You Bring

-Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards -Industry experience required (Construction, General Contractor - preferred) -Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel. -Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance -Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor, Procore, Bill.com a plus. -5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally with experience in month-end close, AP, AR, and Payroll -Previous supervisory experience
