Tasks
Review CAD and alignment drawings for accuracy and provide redlines if necessary. Reviewing and documentarily reporting on Pipeline Facility material test reports (MTRs), Certificates of Compliance etc. for legibility, accuracy, and completeness Documentarily reviewing or inspection of; and documentarily reporting on hydrostatic or pneumatic testing Documentarily reviewing or inspection of; and documentarily reporting on the installation and location of fabrication materials Documentarily reviewing or inspection of; and documentarily reporting on the mechanical assembly of piping and related equipment Provide approved findings to appropriate party for corrective action. Review project documentation, redline deficiencies, record missing or incomplete documents. Review related survey data and construction photos to determine the accuracy of the project documentation. Candidate MUST be able to cross reference these types of records as applicable. Documentarily reviewing or inspection of; and documentarily reporting on non-destructive and destructive testing Reviewing and documentarily reporting on Pipeline Facility fitting makeup and piping fit up Report to and review findings with client representative. Verify Pipeline Facility construction project materials meet design requirements. Reviewing and documentarily reporting on welding and related processes as per best engineering practices, codes and standards. Assembly of the records and documentations required by technical standards, codes or specifications and best engineering practices in hard copy or digital form The DOT/PHMSA Pipeline QA/QC Compliance Inspector will be a Pipeline Facilities-Construction Compliance oriented individual who will be responsible for auditing and documentarily organizing data for Oil and Gas Pipeline construction and compliance documents, technical reports and contractor records. Accurately identify and record material heat numbers, welds, welders, inspections and testing in the required format to provide evidence for potential audits Review corrected documents for accuracy and completeness.

What You Bring
Ability to cross reference and connect related Pipeline Facility IFC and As Built Construction Records. Candidate(s) MUST be able to recognize the diverse types of documents and records used in Pipeline Facility construction documentation process. Collaboration – Ability to work as a part of a team. Ability to read through, understand and follow written instructions. The candidate must be proficient in organizing their work and documenting in softcopy and hardcopy. Familiarity with 49 CFR 192, 49 CFR 195 and ANSI and ASME Standards related to Pipeline Facility Construction and Inspection is preferred. Problem solving – Ability to identify errors and communicate the necessary information required to correct the errors. High School diploma or equivalent Required Skills: · Computer skills – Candidate MUST be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Teams), Adobe, Bluebeam and other document creation and editing tools. Attention to detail – Ability to recognize typographical errors, deficiencies in Pipeline Facility material reports or related records, incomplete or missing data and patterns of inconsistency. Pipeline Facility includes piping, pipeline components, metering stations, measuring stations, compressor station, transmission piping, distribution piping, gathering lines, pipeline right of way etc. Knowledge – Ability to recognize the relevant Pipeline Facility standards or regulations and apply them in the review of records or reports. Communication – Ability to use clear and concise communication to record and report findings verbally and in writing. Travel may be required for audits and stakeholder meetings. Math skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions. Ability to understand and use simple equations and as well as formulate such equations using spreadsheets. Candidate must be eligible for and be able to obtain TWIC and/or TSA Pre-Check verification
