The Role
Overview
Manage site logistics planning, coordination, and safety for construction projects

Tasks
-Act as the key point of contact between project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for logistics-related issues. -Coordinate the flow of materials and deliveries to avoid site congestion and delays. -Ensure logistics operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to optimize cost-effectiveness. -Manage permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements for deliveries and site access. -Oversee site setup and logistics infrastructure, including hoarding, access gates, Security,signage, and welfare facilities. -Develop and implement site Logistics Plan. -Run Daily DABS / White Board Meetings with Client and Sub Contractors. -Management of Site Delivery System. -Establish and maintain delivery schedules in collaboration with suppliers, subcontractors, and site managers. -Track performance against KPIs (e.g., delivery timeliness, waste reduction, resource utilization. -Manage traffic and pedestrian routes to ensure safe and efficient movement on and around the site. -In Conjunction with Commercial Team - monitor and control logistics budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources. -Conduct risk assessments and enforce site safety standards in conjunction with Health and Safety Team.

What You Bring
-Someone with min 4-5 years experience - ideally on Multi phase new build schemes or someone who has worked on larger scale projects. -CSCS Black Card (NVQ Level 6) -Looking for a Problem Solver and Forward Thinker.
