Tasks

Working under the direction of the Head of PMC Department or Director, the Contract Engineer is responsible to handle major functions of Pre-Contract and Post-Contract management activities. -Assessment of Extension of Time Claim, Acceleration, Prolongation and Disruption claim in accordance with SCL Protocols/AACE Guidelines. -Providing support during Contract Administration in the role of PM/PMCM which includes drafting and proofreading of the correspondences related to Extension of Time, Acceleration, Disruption and Prolongation claims, to safeguard the interest of the Client / the Company. -Participate in meetings with Clients and Subconsultant, in finalizing and negotiating the contractual instrument, the Bidding/Tender Document. -Identify and analyze potential risk, its nature, and impact. -Preparation of Pre-qualification and Bidding/Tender Documents which includes drafting/reviewing/redlining/negotiating the Conditions of Contract for various types of Contract including but not limited to Construction, Design-Build, EPC, Design-Build-Operate etc. mainly based on FIDIC, World Bank, ADB or Client preferred tailor-made Conditions of Contract for the projects located in Middle East, Africa, India or any other parts of the world. -Responding to Post tender clarifications and performing Tender Evaluation. -Preparation of Sub-Consultancy agreements, reviewing scope of work in coordination of technical teams.

What You Bring

-Strong analytical skills with high attention to details. -Having at least 4-8 years of experience in handling contracts of large-scale complex building and infrastructure projects, and preferable exposure to Site Construction Projects Management in India & overseas. -Excellent coordination and organizing skills. -Post-Graduation in Construction/Project Management or Diploma/Certificate course in Contract Law or Arbitration Law is preferred though not essential. -Proficient with word, excel, and PowerPoint. -Professional institutional membership such as MRICS, MCIOB, and MCIArb will be an added advantage. -B.E / B. Tech (Civil Engineering). -Ability to work in a matrix environment pulling together input from multiple stakeholders. -Confident verbal and written communicator. -Strong fundamentals and understanding of Contract Law, Arbitration Laws Statutory Requirement applicable to such Contracts. -Knowledge of Planning Software / Delay Analysis Methodologies.
