Traveling Equipment Mechanic - Hydraulic & Heavy Machinery

Overview

Repair and maintain hydraulic/heavy equipment for powerline construction

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Repairing, Maintaining and Servicing all equipment. (i.e., Bucket trucks, Line truck (Diggers), Cranes, Wire Pulling equipment, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Tracked Equipment, Trailers, Pick-up trucks, etc.) -Maintaining and operating a company supplied service truck with crane. -Work around moving equipment and in constricted spaces. -Electronically filling out workorders, ordering parts, keeping time and completing daily reports -Work with hazardous tools, i.e., Welders , Torches, Grinders.

What You Bring

-Possess own mechanic hand tools. - 3 to 5 years Aerial unit experience, Bucket Trucks, Diggers, Cranes -Valid, Active CDL A – Preferred -All of these skills can be trained or taught for the right candidate, more experience preferred -Previous experience with Construction Equipment repair, Yellow Iron, Tracked Equipment -Valid, Active Driver's License Required -Knowledge or Electrical Overhead Powerline Construction Equipment -Tractor Trailer Chassis and engine experience -Your knowledge and experience to help grow our team -High School Diploma or GED -Possessing and supplying own mechanic hand tools. ( diagnostic scanners company supplied along with some specialty tools )
