Senior Structural Engineer to supervise bridge and underpass construction projects in Dubai

Tasks

-Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within budget and schedule constraints -Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project components -Report into the the Resident Engineer and supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites -Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance on a regular basis. -Coordinate with the project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions -Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders -Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concerns

What You Bring

-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams -Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead a small team -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail -Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards -Middle East or UAE/Dubai experience preferred -Demonstrated experience in developing QA/QC procedures for inspections and test plans -Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plus -Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAE -Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridges and underpasses (Cut & Cover) -Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications and familiarity with Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai -Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred -RTA Pre-Approval is highly desirable -Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications
