Tasks

-Create schematic diagrams in AutoCAD LT for new-construction and retrofit projects detailing project summary, bill of materials, and sub-metering installation requirements -Perform market research, evaluate new and existing 3rd party products and applications, including electric, water, and thermal metering and communication technologies. -Develop technical documentation to support field operations including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials -Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to drive alignment and results -Provide technical expertise on communication and AMR (Automated Meter Reading) equipment to improve business Operations troubleshooting procedures -Analyze electrical and mechanical drawings to provide guidance and support on sub-metering system design principles for electricity, water, gas and thermal services in residential, commercial and mixed-use properties -Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance team and organizational performance -Provide technical training to Field Technicians, Project Managers, Logistics Coordinators and external parties as required -Perform analysis of electrical, water, thermal and gas data across Metergy & Quadlogic’s portfolio to provide insights on energy consumption patterns across different HVAC technologies to develop relevant energy allocation strategies -Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and senior leaders, communicating insights and recommendations effectively -Customer Technical Support – handle customer technical needs such as remote (phone and e-mail) and on-site installation support -Review, perform root cause analysis and see through corrective actions as part of the resolution of non-conformances identified through Metergy’s quality management system -Develop and review high-quality reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders -Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems, including electricity distribution, DCW and DHW systems, fan coil/heat pump systems in multi-family and commercial buildings. -Experience with data aggregation and analysis. -Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, and initiative in managing priorities and deliverables -Working knowledge of field device communication protocols -An understanding of energy use in buildings, building HVAC systems. -Ability to both follow direction and think independently. -Affinity for computers and software, strong Excel skills -Comfortable working independently -Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. -Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Auto CAD -Aptitude for math & enjoy working with numbers on a day-to-day basis. -Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written -Education: College degree – Preferred Electrical/Mechanical engineering -5 years of experience in a technical/engineering role. -An understanding of electric, gas and / or water utility billing and rates is a plus but willing to train the right candidate -High level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills -Project Management skills to concurrently delivery multiple projects -Self-motivated & Excellent work ethic -Strong background in troubleshooting and problem solving
