Field Coordinator

Overview

Assist superintendents overseeing subcontractors, crews, schedules, and field reporting.

Tasks

-Walk projects to supervise work being installed -Submit field reports, track time on task, track onsite material inventory and deliveries with Superintendent. -Climb ladders -Manage various scopes of subcontractor work. -Provide direct in field supervision of production crews. -Climb scaffolds -Work under exposure to inclement weather conditions -Accurately records and tracks time and quantities completed daily. -Documentation of work performed. -Drive vehicles for company business -Schedule material deliveries and manage material, equipment and personnel.

What You Bring

-Excellent time management and organizational skills -Able to contribute to daily and weekly safety meetings and audits -Four-year degree in construction, engineering or related field or equivalent construction experience -Understanding and working knowledge of the Vaughn safety plan -Ability to maintain flexibility and work with frequent interruptions and multiple changing priorities -Ability to lead self-perform crew -Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability -Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships -Ability to walk several flights of stairs on high rise buildings -Lift 50 pounds -Ability to plan scopes of work 2-3 weeks out -Move 100 pounds -Self-motivated with the ability to working productively without constant supervision -Basic knowledge of means and methods of construction scopes -Ability to manage multiple operations -Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills -Experience reading blueprints/plans -Experience with large excavation equipment including dozers, track hoes, tractors, scrapers etc.
