The Role

Overview

Oversee material and equipment procurement for large infrastructure projects in the GCC.

Tasks

-Manage procurement-related risks, including cost escalation, delays, and quality issues. -Develop procurement plans and strategies aligned with project schedules and requirements in line with agreed procurement and packaging strategies working hand in hand with RCRC procurement -Manage the PMS scope in relation to monthly Procurement reports -Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting for management and client updates. -Lead and manage the PMS scope in relation to procurement of materials and equipment for the project. -Prepare tender documents, RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts in coordination with the commercial team as per client requirements for engaging parties across the program -Manage the PMS scope in relation to monitoring material delivery schedules, quality, and compliance with project specifications. -Manage the PMS scope in relation to identifying, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors; manage supplier performance and compliance as per client requirements for engaging parties across the program. -Collaborate with design, civil, MEP, and other teams to ensure procurement aligns with project needs. -Mentor and guide junior procurement staff.

What You Bring

-10+ years of experience in procurement and material management for large-scale infrastructure or land development projects. -Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred. -Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. -Proven experience in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia. -Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration.
