Tasks

-Ensure adherence to ABB’s core values, safety, integrity, and compliance standards in all activities. -Foster collaboration across divisions and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. -Reduce risks related to quality and financial exposure by enforcing commercial and quality procedures. -Optimize costs, quality, delivery, and working capital through the rigorous application of group procurement standards. -Oversee the implementation and performance of supply chain systems, including SAP Ariba. -Drive continuous improvement by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and recommending process enhancements. -Lead and manage the purchasing team, ensuring efficient execution of procurement activities and compliance with company guidelines. -Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

What You Bring

-5 to 10 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment. -Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba and supply chain systems. -More than 5 years of experience in personnel management, with proven leadership skills. -Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. French is required. English is also required for regular communication with clients outside Quebec. -University degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
