Overview
Support transportation project development with GIS, CAD, reports, and outreach.

Tasks
-Use and review GIS transportation data. -Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data. -Develop and update CAD drawings -Participate in public engagement and outreach efforts -Prepare, edit, and review technical reports -Occasional field data collection -Review and summarize planning documents and studies -Effectively interact with VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner.

What You Bring
-Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines -Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree in civil engineering, planning, geography or related field. -Experience with Microsoft Office -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills -Team oriented with strong capability to work independently -Self-motivated with attention to detail -MicroStation experience is preferred
