Tasks
-Lead the growth strategy, including leadership reviews communicating product top priorities, growth opportunities, business risks and opportunities, demo plan, competitive landscape and contribute to commercial and pricing strategies. Analyzes and shares underlying market trends and evolving regulatory requirements that lead to new opportunities in specific segments. -Works across sectors to ensure strong alignment of Power Conversion innovations, products, and customer strategies into the Electrical Sector and Bussmann groups through Global Product Councils and with alignment with PMCC in EMEA. -Develops and executes strategic growth plans and business development strategy to achieve targeted eMobility revenue levels -Establish and execute effective internal and external stakeholder communication strategies that address customer, internal leadership, and core team needs for the duration of a project. -Responsible for developing strategies around supporting codes and standards initiatives and industry relationships for eMobility by representing Eaton in electrical vehicle industry task force groups. Enlisting internal team members to support the relationships between Eaton and various vehicle electrification industry representatives globally. -Provide investment recommendation to segment leadership team for organic and inorganic opportunities in partnership with eMobility product strategy team, while managing investment portfolio to optimize growth -Partners with sales organizations to develop and drive execution of customer engagement strategies and achieves targeted commercial wins in accordance with PC’s strategic growth plans -Collects and communicates Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs used to generate new product innovations to solve customer needs, often above and beyond immediate requests. Identify global product portfolio needs for profitable growth, assuring customer needs and wants are integrated in strategic planning and new product developments. -Support all component related pursuit and quote activity including pricing strategy, competitive pricing analysis, project timing, concept design, supply chain cost and capital estimates, manufacturing/operations cost and capital estimates, and any other specific areas required for timely and complete submittal of the quotation. -Influence and secure baseline business case expectations with key stakeholders in the areas of scope, benefit, cost, assumptions, risks/opportunities, key milestones, and alternate implementation scenarios. Fully understand and articulate business case financials and content. -Own operational aspects of the role, not limited to managing internal / external product data, change management, and market promotion for components. -Develop negotiation strategies with functional partners that meet business case commitments for both customer and supplier contract management. Ensure effective change management processes and contract language is designed and applied. -Build effective cross-functional team dynamics and relationship by demonstrating a mindset of transparency, proactive risk mitigation and methodical problem solving.

What You Bring
-Demonstrated experience in developing recommendations based on the aggregation of numerous variables and market conditions. Develops forecasts with open view of leading market drivers and indicators. -Business case knowledge of metrics that affect program profitability. -Project management skills: Ability to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects according to established processes; serve as a consultant for internal and external customers. -Experience in financial analysis especially in the areas of sales growth, profitability, and cost analysis. -Demonstrated experience leading & supporting global business initiatives. -This role will require ~ 15% -20% travel. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration or related field from an accredited institution. -Proven ability to concisely communicate market trends and the impact to business. Ability to deliver differing perspectives by providing logical interpretation of multiple perspectives and scenarios. -Knowledge of electrical power protection products ..eg. breakers. Preferably within the automotive, heavy duty commercial , construction, and/or agriculture sector. -Ability to foresee market trends and propose solutions with confidence -Ability to anticipate emerging issues that have the potential to impact revenue and profits. -Market Strategy knowledge/experience for electrical products or automotive /commercial vehicle components. -No relocation benefit is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Southfield MI .. Marshall MI, Galesburg MI, or.. Tualatin OR. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. -Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, program management, manufacturing, product management, product planning or engineering. -Knowledge of regional automotive/ vehicle suppliers and their products. -Experience in driving aligned actions through groups that don’t directly report to them. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future. -Competitor product knowledge . -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
