Tasks

-Support bid submissions and presentations to clients. -Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for MEP systems in data centre projects -Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing. -Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations -Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and technical input. -Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors. -Mentor and guide junior team members in MEP cost management practices -Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools -Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and data centre infrastructure -Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Minimum 7-10 years of experience in MEP cost estimation, with a focus on data centre projects -Proven experience in estimating MEP works, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector. -In-depth understanding of data centre design and construction principles -Desirable: membership of RICS / CIOB /A. Cost E. -Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems and data centres
