Assist PM, manage project docs, coordinate trades, support construction execution

Tasks

-Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including: drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, and contract documents; -Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients; -Communicate with subtrades to assist in budgeting to ensure they understand their scope of work; -Prepare change order documentation and tracking of all contracts change orders and purchase orders; -Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine the most cost-effective approach. -Ensure compliance with on-site and company-wide health and safety protocols and policies; -Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically;

What You Bring

-Minimum one-to-two (1-2) years of experience in construction on-site as a Project Coordinator; -Academic experience or professional exposure to Design or VCON will be considered an asset; -Willing and excited to work on site and be actively involved in project execution. -Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; -Proficiency in Procore, MS Project and other construction related software will be considered a strong asset; -Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field;
