Tasks

Work alongside experienced trade qualified Transmission Powerline Workers and other experienced trades people to ensure a high quality of output and a safe working environment. You will need a high level of safety awareness, ability to take and follow instruction, and work in a team environment. Join our Transmission Lines Delivery team as a Trades Assistant and help deliver a range of transmission line construction and maintenance projects across SA and interstate. -Operating small to large equipment -Assisting Trade qualified Electricians and Powerline Workers -Loading and driving HR vehicles

With a solid background in trades or civil work, you’re confident tackling practical tasks, solving problems quickly, and taking responsibility for your work while supporting the team. -Use of power tools -Previous experience in similar Trades Assistant or Labouring roles -General computer skills -Any of the following High-Risk Work licences will be helpful (but not essential) - Dogging and Rigging, Crane, Forklift, EWP -A white card and First Aid CPR are desirable -A current SA drivers’ licence is essential, but HR licence is strongly preferred -Willingness to work away from home on project rosters

A large portion of the annual workload will involve working on project sites across South Australia (and interstate), operating on either an 11:3 or 10:4 roster, depending on the specific project.
