Tasks

-Work with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and lead generation activities. -Support governance and KPI adherence, ensuring business systems are updated accurately. -Participate in customer visits, site surveys, and industry events to develop market awareness. -Undertake market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth. -Contribute to the development of product knowledge resources, including technical data sheets and customer-facing materials. -Assist in generating high-quality sales leads and identifying customer requirements both now and for the future, supporting the growth of new engine/power generation sales in the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors. -Assist in sales coverage analysis and territory planning. -Support preparation & delivery of technical sales quotes, proposals, and presentations for customers.

What You Bring

-Attention to detail and organisational skills. -Interest or experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles desirable. -Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Strong IT and analytical skills – ability to use Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and analyse market data. -Degree / Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related discipline). -Willingness to learn, be proactive, and show initiative. -Previous internship, placement, or work experience in an engineering or sales environment advantageous. -Awareness of industrial engine/power generation applications and the markets they serve.
