Tasks

The Project Manager will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. You will work as part of a team to provide the best solutions on design-build projects anywhere from $20 million to over $200 million. -Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs. -Assist in generation of project costs and Job Cost Report. -Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process. -Contribute to the analyzing and forecast of quarterly Total Cost Projection reports. -Maintain understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract. -Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan. -Monitor and record training of all staff personnel. -Monitor project labor. -Report and track equipment needs. -Participate with project team and preconstruction services in development of a Project Chart of Accounts. -Assist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors. -Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes. -Assist preconstruction services in bidding projects. -Participate in the project’s quality process.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs. -This position is classified as a safety-sensitive role in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Candidates selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive background check, which includes mandatory drug testing. -Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting. -Previous experience leading a successful project management team. -5 -10 years of experience managing construction projects ($25+ million) ideally design-build. -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related. -Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology. -Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding. -Our clients and projects are nationwide – Travel will be required. -Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
