Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintain, repair, and service plant equipment, perform PMs, welding, and basic electrical tasks.

Tasks

-Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct them. -Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. -Repairs, replaces, and reassembles defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. -Maintain a clean and organized shop area. -Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.

What You Bring

-Welding/Fabrication experience preferred. -High School diploma or equivalent is required. -6 months to 1-year related experience required. -Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. -Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication or other custom metal coating operations is a plus. -Experience with electrical systems, cranes, hoists, and forklifts preferred.
