Tasks
-Examine and diagnose operational problems, and repairs according to accepted methods, establishes -Adhere to all CEMEX, O.S.H.A., and M.S.H.A rules and regulations at all times -Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies -Recognize potentially hazardous situations -Meet or exceed company safety standards -Conducts preventative maintenance practices -Schedule or call for repairs and parts -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment -Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds -Must wear protective equipment while at the location

What You Bring
-Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends -Welding and cutting experience highly preferred. -Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 70 pounds occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently -High school diploma/GED equivalent -Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility. -Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors -Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 70 pounds occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves walking or standing for long periods of time -Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree -Able to understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form -Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends. -Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment -High School diploma/GED equivalent. -Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls -Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations -Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls -Ability to be multi-diversified in performing other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when needed -Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations. -36-601.01). Smoking and/or the use of tobacco or related products is prohibited in and on CEMEX property as well as any building and/or vehicle owned or leased by CEMEX. -Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility -Welding and cutting experience highly preferred -Be able to read, write, and speak English Working conditions
