Design and analyze roadway drainage systems for transportation projects.

Tasks

-Coordinating with other disciplines -Plan production and development of bid sets -Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub-consultants in the various assignments. -Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies.

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering -Familiarity with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is required -Experience with SUDA preferred -BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Scour analysis -IL Professional Engineering (PE) License -Experience obtaining permits drainage design related permits, such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 and IDNR-OWR Floodway Construction permits -Good communication skills and ability to work as a team -6+ years of previous drainage design experience and geometric design on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) -Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads -Experience with GeoPak Drainage, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs -Experience on multidisciplinary project with subconsultants -Experience preparing IDOT Hydraulic Reports and Phase 1 drainage studies, such as Location Drainage Studies -Bridge/culvert hydraulic analyses
