Lead integration of environmental and carbon management in civil infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and reporting frameworks in line with industry standards and Balfour Beatty’s sustainability commitments -Support environmental compliance, risk management, and innovation across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects -Provide expert guidance to clients and project teams on reducing carbon impacts, improving resource efficiency, and enhancing sustainability performance -Lead the integration of environmental and carbon management into project delivery. -Engage with stakeholders and visit site when required.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of carbon management frameworks (PAS 2080, GHG Protocol, etc.) and experience applying them in practice -proven experience in environmental management within infrastructure, construction, or civils -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels -Relevant professional qualification (IEMA, CEnv, or equivalent) is highly desirable -A track record of delivering sustainability improvements in a project or programme environment
