Designing Learning Environments That Inspire, From Kindergarten Through College

Apply today to lead meaningful PK12 and Higher Education projects in FGMA’s St. Louis region.

  • Translate educational and campus missions into adaptable design solutions for classrooms, studios, labs, student life and support spaces, athletics and training venues, and workforce or technical learning environments.
  • Engage diverse stakeholders including superintendents, school boards, principals, faculty, deans, facilities leaders, and community groups. Facilitate user group work sessions and campus or community meetings.
  • Oversee project delivery including budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and risk management. Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Represent FGMA in interviews, client presentations, and campus or community forums. Support business development and pursuits across the St. Louis region.
  • Lead projects across PK12 and Higher Education from visioning and programming through design, documentation, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Mentor project teams and help grow our PK12 and Higher Education practice through knowledge sharing and coaching.

We are seeking a Project Manager in our St. Louis region who is passionate about educational design and ready to lead impactful PK12 and Higher Education projects from planning through construction closeout.

  • Working knowledge of education design trends, campus standards, safety, and sustainability strategies. Proficiency in Revit and project management software. LEED accreditation is preferred.
  • Ten or more years of architectural experience, including built work in PK12 and or Higher Education. Campus experience may include academic, student life, labs or technical training, athletics, or specialized workforce facilities.
  • Proven leadership in project management, consultant coordination, and client engagement. Confident facilitator with executive, faculty, and community audiences.
  • Ability to travel regionally to districts and campuses in the St. Louis area and surrounding markets.
  • Licensed Architect with a professional degree from an accredited program.
