Overview

Warehouse associate who picks, loads, and provides front‑line customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery. -Serve them immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage. -Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner. -Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides. -Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks. -Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork. -Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch. -Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch/warehouse, or as they call. -Pick orders for immediate pick-up.

What You Bring

-Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences. -Completed High School certificate a must. Post-secondary education an asset. -Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate. -High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes. -Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees. -Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
