Tasks

-Participates in the configuration, testing, and implementation of the compensation administration system. -Identifies problems and opportunities in data integrity audits of job and employee information to ensure all HR and compensation data is accurate, complete, and up to date. -Recommends compensation actions to improve internal equity and/or market competitiveness based on business needs. -Performs data analytics, modeling, reporting and auditing of job and employee information across the organization. -Reviews and/or prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties, and requirements. -Prepares, reviews, and submits budget, expenses, and accruals to Accounting and Finance for all compensation programs, as needed. -Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action. -Performs activities to develop, implement, and administer compensation policies, programs, and systems. -Reviews requests for new or revised job descriptions to determine appropriate market benchmark. -Researches new and updated legislation impacting compensation and benefits administration. -Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions, and career path structures. -Prepares special studies and recommendations on subjects such as base pay, short-term incentive, and long-term incentive plans. -Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies, and practices. -Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position. -Performs analyses to assess how current pay practices are in alignment with the company's pay strategy and philosophy.

What You Bring

-4-6 years experience with broad base pay including administration of base pay and incentive plans Required -Skill in identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. -Ability to treat sensitive personal and company data with the highest integrity and with strict confidentiality. -Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Match Index, Pivot Tables) are required. -Strong knowledge of compensation principles and procedures. -Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities. -Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. -Strong analytical and quantitative skills. -Ability to train others. -1-3 years career progressive experience in HR, including direct experience mentoring compensation staff Preferred -Knowledge of related legal standards; such as ERISA, FLSA, and Equal Pay laws. -Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplined Required -Strong business acumen and awareness of compensation and market trends. -Strong project management skills and problem-solving experience. -Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred -Master's Degree MBA in HR Management Preferred -Ability to plan, assign, and review the work of others.
