Overview

Handles receiving, storing, and cleaning food items, assists café and catering ops.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Record all temperatures and maintain and clean the loading dock area -Removal of garbage -Work with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events -Build respectful relationships with all teammates and guests -Support the Chef and culinary team when needed -Support dish room operators as needed -Proper receiving and storage of all foods, chemicals, equipment and dry goods -Clean and sanitize the work area. Gather all invoices and provide them to the Chef or GM -Weighing and inspecting all received products -Ensure all equipment is in good working order -Build rapport with delivery vendors

What You Bring

-Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks -Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods -Willingness to take directions from the Chef, Front of the House Manager and Catering Manager -Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs -Ability to communicate effectively with teammates -Time demands in catering so you must work well under time restraints -Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
