Tasks

-Validate performance under load and identify bottlenecks in the system -Implement API test automation using REST Assured for microservices testing -Develop performance and load testing scripts using JMeter for energy data processing systems -Test MQTT-based real-time data flows and event-driven processing systems -Perform database testing and validate data integrity for SQL databases -Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues -Collaborate with development team to ensure testability of features -Contribute to test automation best practices and framework improvements -Develop automated tests for SFTP file transfers and batch processing -Manage test cases and test execution in Xray integrated with Jira -Support production releases with smoke testing and deployment validation -Participate in sprint planning to provide test estimates and define test strategies -Monitor test results and report defects with detailed reproduction steps -Write test scenarios in Gherkin syntax collaborating with Product Owners and developers -Work within SAFe Agile methodology participating in daily standups and retrospectives -Collaborate with developers to implement test automation as part of CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins) -Test integration with AWS services and cloud-based deployments -Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple environments -Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cucumber for BDD (Behavior Driven Development)

What You Bring

-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution -Ability to write clear, maintainable test automation code -Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools (Gatling, LoadRunner) -Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in QA automation and software testing -Fully proficient in English both written and spoken (required) -Understanding of microservices testing strategies (desirable) -Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment (desirable) -Understanding of API contracts, REST principles, and HTTP protocols -Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities -Performance Testing certifications (desirable) -Protocols: REST API, MQTT, SFTP, SQL (required) -Strong experience with Cucumber and Gherkin syntax for BDD -AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (desirable) -Solid experience with REST API testing using REST Assured or similar tools -Knowledge of French or German (desirable) -Certified Agile Tester (CAT) (desirable) -Cloud: Understanding of AWS, Docker environments -Proactive in identifying quality risks and proposing solutions -Understanding of software development lifecycle and shift-left testing principles -Team player who can collaborate effectively across functions -Programming: Java or similar language for test automation (required) -Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments -Testing Tools: Cucumber, REST Assured, JMeter (required) -Experience with testing MQTT protocols and message-oriented systems (desirable) -International Software Testing Qualifications Board Foundation Level or Advanced Level (desirable) -Ability to perform root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve issues -ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications (desirable) -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience -Experience testing IoT platforms or real-time data processing systems (desirable) -Experience with Selenium for UI testing (desirable) -Test Management: Xray, Jira (required) -Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, CloudWatch) (desirable) -Strong analytical skills to understand complex system behavior and identify test scenarios -Experience with Postman, SoapUI (desirable)
