The Role

Overview

Manage supply chain coordination, orders, inventory, logistics, and vendor relations.

Tasks

-Coordinate with the Logistics and Transportation Department to ensure a smooth logistics execution -Monitor sales orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and collaborates with the Planning and Operations to resolve critical situations. -Work with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and optimize storage. -Collaborates with Planning Department and Sales to shape demand based on historical and forecasted data. -Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and shipments. -Communicate regularly with suppliers to address any concerns and ensure alignment with Sofidel America’s standards and expectations. -Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. -Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency. -Request regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. -Ensure timely availability of products to achieve a cost-effective transportation to internal and external Customers. -Communicate with Customer Service and Sales to propose short and medium term solutions to overcome and prevent critical situations. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in supply chain management. -Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock and coordinating with suppliers or Planning Department for replenishment. -Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. -2+ years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or a similar role. -Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. -Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. -Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
