Tasks

-Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel -See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system -Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support -Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections -Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews -Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues -Manage and develop multidiscipline teams -Function as Project Manager and take responsbility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities -Implement, monitor and support company policy -Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts

What You Bring

-Ability to handle multiple assignments -Good leadership and organizational skills -Strong communication and listening skills -A minimum of 10 years experience -Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm -PE or SE Required -Prior experience in the management and development of structural/civil systems is preferred. -BS degree in Civil, Structural or related engineering field. -Candidates who reside locally in the NY/NJ area are preferred.
