Tasks
-Translate analytics and category/brand strategies into comprehensive global merchandising strategies and plans. -Partner with commercial teams to manage and optimize assortments effectively. -Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation. -Coordinate with other category managers to integrate brand strategies into global commercial assortments. -Transform market intelligence into actionable insights to drive merchandising initiatives and inform go-to-market plans. -Collaborate across global teams to develop and implement comprehensive global assortment strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and brand positioning. -Support regional teams in the execution and optimization of retail planograms. -Manage marketing budget allocations to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with strategic goals. -Manage the product lifecycle, including margin analysis, SKU rationalization, and the development of impactful launch plans for new product and assortment introductions. -Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of assortment strategies. -Deliver category education to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of category strategies and initiatives. -Conduct regular research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. -Track the success of merchandising efforts and provide performance-based insights to stakeholders. -Drive continuous improvement in processes and functions, ensuring alignment with the category strategy across the full product lifecycle and its implementation.
